Gratitude Gifts Today

The remembering of His birth has come and filled my heart again.  He lives on and I am reminded that without Him I am nothing.  Born in a stable, a helpless infant, yet destined to save me and you.  What a miracle it was - and still is!  What can I give this Child, this Saviour, this Prince of Peace?  First I give Him my thanks and I count on, so that in the counting I am renewed to serve others, as He served and showed me the way to do it.

- sunlight on the mountain tops

- watching all of them having fun

- how healthy we all are

- favourite foods shared

- special handmade gifts

- lots of help in the kitchen

- Bob doing so many dishes

- little ones laughing and having fun together

- game times

- new skiers

- Christmas carols

- trying out brand-new snowshoes (thanks, D & K!)

- stocking stuffer treats - lots of them!

- Christmas card photos of snow on the trees

- getting home safely

- good friends and their generosity

- lingering over the memories of laughter

- time in the hot springs

- lights and colors

- feeling better after being sick

- a great time being all together

(thanks for the photo, H!)

We had a really great week minus the stomach flu and a few emotional moments. Love the photos you took - I took one with the magnetic letters today too. :)

  6. What a stunning family photo, Crystal. I love it! And your lists are great. I love them too, and always do. You take note of some things I tend to overlook, and that reminds me to go back and look again.
I think 2011 is going to be a great year, and I really like the idea of listing all the good things in your life too. Again, we forget somne of the small things, and actually, they are big.
