Thanksliving

Some things I am grateful for today:

1.  A day to worship and praise the Lord - and talk with the Sunday School class about why we come to church.  "It is written that my house shall be a house of prayer."  Matthew 21:13

2.  Bright sunshine and clear skies - even if the temperature is still -20 degrees C.

3.  Black Cherry Berry herbal tea

4.  Tuna Chowder for supper

5.  Bright spots of color amongst the leafless trees

6.  Researching on the internet - so easy to find what you want and check it out in depth

7.  Winter birds like cardinals and jays and the entertainment they bring to the yard

8.  Time and energy to create again

  1. That little red bird box reminds me of the photo you took of the hut with the red door. Cool.

You are having - 20 degrees. We are looking forward to a whole week of 41 degrees Celsius (plus. Mind you, when I say 'looking forward' - I am totally fibbing.

Must remember to drink plenty of water.

  2. I'm very curious about the talk with the Sunday school class. We'll have to chat about that.
Love all those bird feeders, but especially the little visitors. Have you noticed any new ones? In Central Park there are tons of birds and great bird watching to be had. We'll have to go over when you come and see what's there.
I agree with you that even though it's cold outside clear blue skies and sunshine can totally change the day. It's nice to be back in a place where I can see the sun shining most days. It also helps that the days are getting longer. Yeah!!

  5. Cool birdhouses! Do you know that I collect antiques birdhouses for Bella? I am fascinated by them. And she had quite the collection. Awesome!!
