This little guy has been battling an infection ever since last Sunday and while the antibiotics have started their job of working on the bacteria, late this afternoon a surgeon at Children's Hospital removed the infected node near his left jawbone. He and his mom are staying overnight and hopefully he'll be home tomorrow. Please pray that this spot will heal quickly, that there will be no other complications and that this little family can soon be back to normal. It's been a long 3 weeks for all four of them. We spent the day with Helayna - setting up her big girl bed, doing lots of playing and being outside for an hour and half this afternoon. I'm sure she would have stayed out even longer but Gramma and Grampa were getting cold! I'll keep you updated on things as they develop here.
