Our nephew, Dakin, turned 18 on the weekend! Wow - where has the time gone? I can remember when he was born and then all the fun our kids had playing with him over the years. He is finishing grade 12 this year (this is his grad portrait) and heading way across the country to Acadia University in Wolfville, NS to study political science. He is excited about studying new things in a new place in an environment that will stimulate and challenge him.

I'm thrilled to hear about his adventures to Acadia. He'll love the school and the town. Tyler & I both loved our time there. I hope to catch him this week and find out more details. The time has flown by, and I can remember playing together and watching him grow up. Wow!
