Camping Time

Our second annual family camping trip took place this weekend at Crimson Lake.  The weather was fabulous, the company was wonderful, the food was excellent and we had lots of fun with all the little ones!

It was really warm and sunny - perfect for being outdoors in God's creation.

There was lots of walking from site to site and back and forth to the lake.  Sometimes giving a ride is the easiest way to get little ones to come along :))

Hanging out, having a little milk with breakfast but still playing with the doll!

The 10 min. walk down to the lake went quickly as we sang our way through the "Wheels on the Bus" song.

All the little ones loved the water.  It was still chilly but they played for a long time, digging in the sand and moving pails of water.  Silas was having fun warming up with Grampa and making silly sounds.

And we celebrated Naomi's 28th birthday which will be later this week.  All the little ones loved blowing out candles several times.  I love seeing their excitement about birthdays!

We had a great weekend!  I hope your's was a good one too!

  1. It looks like you had a wonderful time! We just rented our cabins for our camping trip!! :)

  2. It was such a great trip, wasn't it?!?! I'm so glad we were able to come and we loved camping with you! Looking forward to next year!

  3. What a wonderful time you must have had! I love the photos, Crystal - and those grandchildren of yours are so gorgeous!

  4. Looks like a great time, Crystal!

Loved the 'on the shoulders' picture. Victor is often asking to "ride Daddy's shoulders!"
