Yesterday was the day to celebrate Meadow's 3rd birthday - and what a party it was!! There was water sliding, swimming, soccer playing, trampoline jumping, sand digging and good times had by all. Having a big party and a 6 day old baby made for a busy week in the household.
The mushroom cake for fairies, just like she wanted! She had lots of fun helping her Mom decorate it the day before too.
It's almost unbelievable that 3 years ago she was just like that little tiny bundle! I love this family picture!
There was a great deal of candle re-lighting so each of the little ones could have a turn blowing them out. And the candy sidewalk made of Smarties disappeared in short order :))
Yummy birthday cake!
and to try out! My dad won this ride-on tractor in some contest this winter so he gave it to Meadow. She was pretty happy!
And of course everyone had to try it out!
I think Renee' (in the pink shirt) was the most dedicated pusher of all. She stuck with it the longest, that's for sure! They were so, so good about taking turns.
Thanks for a wonderful party, Meadow and family!
Your days are full of joyous moments at the moment - absolutely beautiful. I do believe I am living grannyhood precariously through you. Smiles.
ReplyDeleteI love all the photos. You captured the events of the party perfectly. The cake looks so great and I'm sure was a hit with the kids. I can't believe how many cousins there are, and what a cool gift from Grandpa Lange. I'm sure there will be many hours spent on that tractor. Thanks for sharing. Wish we could be there. Maybe next year for all those Drebert birthdays?!
ReplyDeleteIt was such a fun day, wasn't it?! I'm glad we were able to be there! The cake was perfect especially with the fairies!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Meadow! The cake is so cute. Jerzie and Meadow are pretty close in age Jerzie will be 3 next month.
