Please Pray

I need to ask you to pray for our group as we have been devastated.

On our way home from AgroExpo (the largest agricultural equipment show in Argentina) yesterday, one of the men had a heart attack while we were on the bus. The nurse onboard started CPR, the bus driver got us to the next town very quickly, we found a hospital, a doctor came immediately, the ambulance came and they were able to get his heart beating again. Then they transferred him to hospital but later in the evening he had 2 more heart attacks and died.

So today we are all reeling and reflecting on how in just 2 weeks someone can become a good friend. His wife is flying home tomorrow and his body will be transferred to Canada on Thursday. They had done alot of travelling and he enjoyed everything we saw and did, especially in Brazil. Our hearts ache for Annie as she begins her journey home without her best friend and husband.

Please keep her and all of us in your prayers that we might get home safely. Tonight we reminisced, toasted Peter and did lots of hugging and crying.

Go and hug those you love right now.

  4. James 4:14 says: "Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow, For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away." We ALL need to be so keenly away that our very next heart beat and the very next breath in our lungs is in His hand.

Father God, I lift up this dear wife who has just lost her husband and all the others on this trip who have been touched by this, also the rest of this couples family. We do not understand the why's of these things father, but we know in whom we have believed and we trust you in all things.

My prayer is that if any of them do not know you as their PERSONAL Lord and Savior they may find you now. In my saviors precious, precious name I pray. Amen
    Susan
