Change

Morning light - great light for taking pictures - not usually a time that I'm out with the camera BUT this morning I was!!

8:20 a.m. - the sun is rising at our farm and the cattle are gathered

Waiting

In the pen

Because today they are going up the chute

And taking a trip on one of these trucks

Heading off

Down the road to tomorrow's auction!

We've made the decision to sell our cattle so it's been a hectic week, especially for Bob. But this morning 94 cows left our farm and it's a little quieter around here now. Hopefully the auction will go well and our adjustment to a new chapter in life will be smooth and enjoyable! You can keep us in your prayers please - thank you, my friends and family!

    Dear Heavenly Father
Please hold my sister and brother-in-law close as they make this life change. Bring good weather tomorrow for the sale and good prices too - please. Thank you for the memories and livelihood you have generously provided. We trust you for future paths and blessings. Amen

Hoping everything goes well at the auction tomorrow. I love your pics from this morning. I did my degree in animal science and I really miss those farm mornings.

  6. You are in our prayers! I am sure that God has many great new adventures in store for you in this new chapter of your lives! I remember when my parents sold the animals---big decision, but the best one they made! They had so much less stress and freedom! Enjoy and I hope the sale goes well!!
