Gratitude Gifts Today

It was an exciting weekend, celebrating a birthday and seeing family that we have been missing.  And amidst all the good times, the weather changed and the gifts kept coming!  I am so very, very blessed!

- Helayna, our beautiful granddaughter

- memories of the last 4 years

- big smiles and great excitement

- little girl friends gathered

- little girl mamas who support each other

- "Can you stay for a sleepover?"

- early morning wakeup surprises

- potato pancakes

- homemade pizza

- "Mount Helayna" cake

- little packages full of goodness

- dress-up goodness

- one on one time with each of our grandchildren

- seeing D and K again

- reading stories together

- little ones who know the stories so well they can read to me

- re-purposing an old, old piece

- time outdoors before the weather changed

- full moon rising

- safe travels

- my parents who can still travel on their own

- my camera

- the entertainment a straw maze provided

- early Christmas shopping

- autumn flowers

- chai latte's

- using fabric from my stash

- snuggling together in bed

- strong little bodies and inquisitive minds

- the blessings of being a grandparent

- time spent in reading the Word

- sensing the purpose that God has given me

- the strong Rock that is my Saviour

holy experience

  1. Once again I LOVE your list! Hope you are staying warm over there. I am still enjoying your "secret mocha mix" it's a perfect quilting companion on these chilly days. I just can't seem to get warm. Have a great day!

  2. It sounds like a fun and wonderful weekend spent celebrating and connecting again. The bench turned out great. Did she like it?
And the cake turned out so well. I saw the ice cream cone ones, too. How creative was that!
I can't wait to catch up and hear all the little details. So many good things to capture.

  3. We had such a good weekend! Thank you so very much for all of your help and for making her birthday so special. We are so blessed to have you as a Gramma and Mom. Thank you!
