Gratitude Gifts Today

My life is blessed with:

- waking before the alarm clock rings (I think I'm still on NYC time)

- catching up on what's happened with family while we were away

- quiet in our house

- the sun breaking over the horizon

- patches of ground showing through the snowdrifts on the front lawn

- memories of Samuel greeting us each morning while we were at his house

- homemade granola

- recipes from friends (thanks, Jill!)

- fragrant cinnamon carried home from Zanzibar

- feeling clean after a shower

- empty suitcases - ready for another trip :)

- tomatoes + cheddar cheese on toast

- washing machine, dryer and dishwasher

- time to attend to details

- "God Will Find A Way" humming through my mind ever since Sunday

- finding ingredients already mixed, in the freezer, to be the basis for supper

- a new batch of lavender scented homemade laundry soap

- ordering pictures online for 15 cents each

- memories that those pictures bring back

- plans for tomorrow

- knowing deep in my heart that I am doing just what God wants me to

- watching the sun set at 6:30 p.m. - so much later already

- the smell of supper wafting through the house

- a sink full of clean dishes

- folded laundry

- a new book for our Bible study

- prayer, quietly murmured throughout my day

holy experience

  4. Thanks for sharing. I hope you get switched over to AB time quickly. Samuel definitely misses having you two around.
We're enjoying the longer days and increased sunshine here, too. Thankfully spring is almost here and the green grass is starting to poke through. Not much longer until we get to enjoy AB weather with you. ;)
