Simple Woman #4
For Today... August 11, 2008
Outside my Window... it's the car window as we continue back into Canada on our summer road trip - seeing some farmland, raspberry fields and small towns.
I am thinking... about all we've seen and then getting home and settling back down after nearly 2 weeks on the road.
I am thankful for... safe travels with nearly 4000 kilometres travelled and the memories we've made with my sister and her family.
From the kitchen... still nothing as we continue to enjoy restaurant food.
I am wearing... denim capris, a pink cotton blouse and sport sandals (again!).
I am reading... Family Tree by Barbara Delinsky
I am hoping... we'll find some summer fruit in the Okanagan Valley tomorrow to take home with us.
I am hearing... Stuart Maclean and stories from the Vinyl Cafe' on the CD player.
Around the house.. all is quiet!l
One of my favorite things... seeing new natural beauty like rocks, lakes, trees and growing things.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week... buying fruit, driving home, canning peaches, doing laundry, sleeping in my own bed!!
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...
