Waiting . . .

Crocus Hill, April, 2006

I'm seriously getting anxious for the snow to go and spring to arrive. The weather forecast was for lots of sun today but it didn't really happen until late in the afternoon. I know we will have several days of cold and snow yet but spring can come and stay anytime now!!

This is the week of parent student teacher interviews at school so I have one more late night tomorrow. This is a LLLOOONNNGGG week!

  1. I hope by Good Friday all the snow is gone and the crocuses are blooming. It'll be nice while you're out quadding to see them this year. It's Thursday so your week is getting shorter, and hopefully by Friday night you will be able to rest and do something you love doing. Hugs.

I hear you with the long week thing.... Yesterday was our first full, sunny day without rain here in the Vancouver area in something like 40 days. It has been crazy. I am ready for Spring to arrive!

  4. We are expecting snow from Sunday here. Spring was very short then! And I have been lesson planning for the past 6 hours, as I was told today I need to have exam papers written by tomorrow and revision lessons planned for the next 2 weeks by Monday. Groan. 2 weeks to go till holidays. I can't wait!

  5. Love the pretty flowers. It feels so good to see some re-birth and to get rid of this snow. Have a fabulous weekend.

I am thankful for crocuses and pussywillows. They are truly signs of "everlasting" life. Glad we have them and get to share them each year.

  8. Hopefully, all your meetings are done and I guess you have March Break soon.

I am so wanting Spring too. We had 16 deg C weather on Tuesday/Wednesday and now that I have a taste I want more. Unforuntately it snowed last night though.
