Happy Camera Weekend!

I really had a lovely time with our camera while we were in Vancouver!! It was inspiring to look for unusual and interesting colors and objects. I think I could quite get to enjoy more little trips like this one!

I was surprised at how small the actual Island area was and how twisted the streets were. It all made much more sense when I checked the map. And I can only imagine how busy it gets here on weekends in the summer!!

Oh, my gosh - how funny this one was! We thought of our friend Aime' as soon as we saw it.

I can hardly believe that we didn't even go inside here! Definitely a missed opportunity.

Could it really be? A shop just for me??!!

What can you say about this one? Nothing at all!

If you like angles and straight edges, this one's for you!

This little shop was at the end of an alley and I just loved the look of the open door, the greenery and the color combos. This one totally makes me happy!

You will be quite surprised to hear that we didn't actually do one bit of shopping. We just walked around, window shopped, took a lot of pictures, watched the people and fed the birds - and ourselves!!

  1. I like the look of that little craft shop, too. I wonder what was inside, and you didn't do any shopping? Aren't little excursions like this so uplifting and refreshing?

Ohh, I am sooo sad that you did not get a chance to shop! And you did not go into Hollyfield's?? Sad.... I have those same barn stars on my living room wall! It is a great store - filled with unique things and wonderful ideas. Next time you come, you MUST shop!!!

  6. Love all your photos. It is sad that you didn't have a chance to go to Crystal's Ark. Perhaps next time. Looks like you had a blast.
