This is My Life

today, in a place far from home!

These are just a few of the pictures I took today and I wanted to share a glimpse into our day. It was another amazing adventure as we went to Krakow.

Our home while we are in Poland. This is just one of the doors I've found to photograph on this trip - I'll show you more in the days to come.

The view from Mel and Tyler's living room. I am fascinated with windows on this trip!

Mel buys her fresh local organic produce from this man in the market. He had amazing radishes and raspberries on this day.

Our amazing tour guide who has perfect English and even basic Polish language skills! Mel has been so good at making our stay fun, easy and interesting. This was taken in side the castle walls in Krakow today.

The church inside the castle walls in Krakow. This castle was started more than 1000 years ago by the first Polish king and the cathedral had many additions made to it over the years. When it was restored, the original designs were kept so it makes for a very interesting look.

The Catholic cemetary close to Mel & Tyler's house - every grave has many flowers on it.

These fancy windows were in Krakow today. Many of the old buildings we've seen have these plaster decorations and the bright colors vary. They just say "Europe" when I see them.

A totally unexpected photo op! I snapped this very quickly as we walked by - don't you love the guy's bouquet?!

Your photos are wonderful and make me feel like I'm with you on your adventure. I love the doorway - is it Mel's house?

  5. What beautiful photos and a wonderful chance for many of us to see a part of the world we may not ever be able to visit. The groom's flowers are an unusual touch :)

  7. I love all the windows too. The doorway is awesome too.

LOL on the man's bouquet but I think he's just holding them at the moment for the bride.
