Creating

Two days before Peyton's baby shower, I got the idea to make a little banner for her.  I have no problem dreaming up projects and thank goodness, I got this one put together in time!

I used 3 red cotton prints that I had in my stash, cut out the letters and zigzagged them on to the banner pieces.

The banner was hung on the "gift boxes" - crates from the John Deere dealership that our son might be able to re-purpose and use in his garage!

It's amazing for me to have two projects finished in one weekend!  It's a rainy, windy day here today so I'm heading to my sewing space for more fun :)

Meet . . .

Marissa Rae and Madisyn Leah, my newest nieces, who were born on June 20th!! (Their dad is my brother, Brent.) They are just so, so sweet and we all cuddled them alot at a baby shower yesterday. They had the cutest little short sets on and actually weren't too hot in the 33 degree Celsius heat that we are having.

My mom holding grandchildren #11 and #12

My mom, Kelsie(big sister #1), Marissa, Rhonda (the mom of 4 beautiful girls), Madisyn, Kayleigh(big sister #2 - no, these 2 aren't twins!), Rhonda's mom

Meet

Kayleigh Rose Marie Krueger, our newest great-niece. Her dad is our nephew and it's awesome to see him enjoying his daughter and carrying her around like a little football!! Kayleigh was born in January and is a sweet, sweet little doll. Her aunt hosted a baby shower for her on Saturday and so we all got to cuddle and snap lots of pictures. Then she came to the birthday party yesterday so we got to see her again. Good thing because I know she will change so quickly in the next weeks before we see them again.

Mom and Dad, Janice and Bryce

Dad opened all the presents - baby girls get the cutest clothes!!

With Gramma Rose

Cuddling with Auntie Joyce, who is just loving having a niece!
